Chiseong is a ritual ceremony to show your gratitude with utmost sincerity for the grace and other Great Deities of Heaven and Earth who take care of human beings. This is an important religious ceremony which awakens disciples to their reformations as clean and unselfish beings. Accordingly, they dismiss worldly thoughts and show their utmost sincerity and propriety during the ceremony.

Chiseongs are held on the days of Sangje Kang Jeungsan and Doju Jo Jeongsan’s birth and passing into heaven and on the day when great deities were enshrined at Yeongdae and on some other commemorative occasions. Most of Chiseongs are performed in Yeoju Headquarters Temple.
